"A passion for the motorcycle mode of travel led us to begin publishing material about motorcycling and motorcyclists in our home province a few years back.  We began by publish motorcyclepei.com and supportive print material.  As time went by, and we travelled more ourselves, we became determined to start spreading the good news about things we have discovered in the rest of our country.  Thus, motorcycle-touring-Canada.net was born."

Publisher Julie Watson, rode with her husband, Jack, for many years.  The couple loved touring on their BMW K1100 and participated in rallies as far away as Virginia. Although the couple have had to cut back motorcycling activities due to complications with Jack’s diabetes they still love the lifestyle.  “Producing the Motorcycle Guide and now web sites for Prince Edward Island and touring Canada are way for me to stay involved in something we enjoy so much,” says the publisher who is also a member of the P.E.I. Motorcycle Touring Club.

 Julie is the author of 20 books, and hundreds of magazine articles.  Her most recent book, Living With Diabetes: A Family Affair includes interviews with many members of the motorcycle community. As well as writing about travel, food, life adventures and small business, Julie is often seen at fairs and markets selling her books along with photography by her son, John Watson of Vancouver and other "printables".  This is one of several publishing projects of Julie’s company, Seacroft.   www.seacroftpei.com.
